UIUC计算机系的Kevin C.C. Chang教授所带领的研究小组（FORWARD Group）招收2023Fall博士生（I am looking for PhD/MS students to join the research project at the FORWARD Lab）。其中FORWARD的全称是Far-Out Reach to Worldwide Access and Retrieval of Data，该小组的研究重点是关于数据的访问和获取。
该研究小组的总体目的是 bridging structured and unstructured big data，也就是to bring structured/semantic-rich access to the myriad and massive unstructured data which accounts for most of the world's information. 因此，该小组的研究内容包括了 data mining, data management/databases, information retrieval, machine learning,等等。目前的研究重点侧重于 interactive data management, entity-centric Web search and mining, social media analytics, and social network mining.对于该研究方向感兴趣的同学们，可以准备套磁咯！
